Our Kitchen Reveal – A Very Green Kitchen!

This project is something we have dreamed about for almost six years, and we could not be happier with the results! I’ve shared bits and pieces along the way over on IG (make sure you are following along there!) but today is the big reveal. Stay tuned because I will be answering some of your questions as well as a budget breakdown in part two soon!

The Before

Previously, our kitchen was a beige/brown color but after living in our space for a few years we did a very basic update that included new green paint on the walls, a new light, painting the hardware, and removing a cabinet to add in decorative shelves. And we were so happy with this update! The space still had some issues, but this kept my desire to fully remodel at bay until we could afford it. Fast forward to 2022 and we were able to move forward. And the wait was worth it!

Our New Kitchen!

It really feels like a whole new space! Our contractor was amazing, I felt like he answered my questions before I could even think of them. We wavered on the green but in the end, we are so happy we with Balsam by Benjamin Moore. The walls are Swiss Coffee from Kelly Moore.

I cannot believe this is the same space! We kept the layout besides moving the fridge into the open space and adding a lot of storage.

The dining room also got a face lift, but we are still searching for the right pieces to finish it off.
