ahh it’s finally done, the bathroom is 90% complete and there’s a chance it might just stay like this. If you’ve been following me on IG, you know I was really behind at the beginning of this week but now it’s done and I’m so happy! Here’s a little reminder of what this space looked like before:

Let’s jump into the reveal and I’ll share sources at the end!

Special thanks to Hound Paint for providing the beautiful paint for this space! I used Dreamsicle and it truly is dreamy.
Here’s what I did!
- Took out shelves, towel hooks, mirror, and light fixtures
- Painted shower grout
- Laid peel and stick tile
- Changed door knob and vanity knobs
- Painted the walls and ceiling
- Replaced lights
- New faucet
- Hung new towel hooks
- Rehung mirror
- Added a few decor pieces!
I did the majority of this project during the last week and while I wouldn’t recommend this, it was pretty rewarding when I finished it all yesterday! In another blog, I’ll be sharing some things I learned from the project and what I would do differently. Overall, I am OBSESSED! I keep going in the bathroom just to admire it.

I say this project is 90% done because one big piece is missing: a new shelf! I have a vision to hang a long shelf under the mirror all the way over the toilet to the shower. Just a thin one where we can set a candle and some canisters. This will also act at our counter since we currently have zero.

Special shout to the local businesses I was able to shop for this project! I’ve linked similar ideas below for items I can’t link. My macrame plant hanger and hand soap are from Nudge Eco Store. The little ring dish is from a local maker, Verdure Wares. The artwork is by the Oyster Art Gallery. My hanging basket and vintage book are from Goodwill! And lastly, my perfect brass hand towel ring are from a sweet follower and fellow thrifter Hayley!
