It’s been a week! Paint and peel and stick tile have been ordered, I scrubbed down the tile, and am repairing the caulking. The only bad new is that the mirror I wanted is too big so I am on the hunt for something else.

To start this week, I went to Home Depot and got a few supplies. I knew the shower needed a good scrub down so I grabbed this Zep foaming shower cleaner. I thought it did a good job! But I did scrub for almost an hour. Next I used some spray from my local Ace Hardware to remove the grout. It wasn’t too hard but it did take a lot of scraping which took at least an hour.

Be careful when removing the old caulk, the grout can get sharp so wear some gloves. Now I am letting everything dry out before I re-caulk and use a grout pen to paint the grout. I also plan to patch the holes in the bathroom so we can start painting soon.

We are having some guests and a Halloween party so I need to keep the bathroom intact a bit longer. But on November 1st, the vanity will be removed so I can start painting and laying the tile. I can’t wait!
That’s all for this week! Don’t forget to check out the other amazing projects.
