It’s finally here! The reveal of our front porch/landscaping project. This project evolved as we went along but I’m so happy with where we ended up. In the future we will tackle more of the landscaping but for now I’m going to enjoy our beautiful space.
Before I share the reveal, I want to say that there was really nothing wrong with the before. We had a lot of beautiful moments out here and I’m so grateful for it. During the ORC, a beloved relative received some disappointing health news and it reminded me how important it is to value what we have now. Use and love your spaces. Invite your loved ones over regardless of how your home looks. Live in your spaces even if they aren’t picture perfect.
Okay, the reveal…
The difference is truly night and day and I’m obsessed. The pink door brings me endless joy and every time I look at the stencil and flower beds I feel so proud of myself. Here’s a few more photos before I ramble!
This week, all I really did was the finishing touches and decorating. This was my favorite part. I also took care of the space next to the porch and a little flower bed under the side window. Just feels a lot cleaner. One thing you can’t really see are our house numbers. We decided to hide the in most pictures just to be safe but they are so cute. I’ll share a picture of one on IG.
The most important part of our makeover was our sitting area. We love our front porch and sit out here almost everyday. So chairs and a spot for Emmy to sit was a must. The pouf comes in perfect for her or as a foot stool. Adding the lights has made it the perfect place for day or evening!
